Would Binghamton be a very likely? Feedback MUCH appreciated.

<p>Binghamton and NYU are the schools I'm looking at. Both for Business.</p>

<p>So far I took the SAT twice, superscore of 1980/2400 and 1320/1600
Took the ACT once with a cumulative of 31. 31 reading 32 math.</p>

<p>As for my GPA, I got around 91/92 freshman/sophomore year because I didnt really try.
This year I did and my average was 98. </p>

<p>I havent taken any APs yet, but next year Im taking AP Stat, Ap Gov/Econ, AP environmental.</p>

<p>Any feedback is MUCH appreciated!</p>

<p>If you are in-state, then Binghampton U looks like a target. NYU might prove to be difficult though.</p>

<p>ack, that stinks. and yeah im in state. just looking for good business schools as close to me as possible. thing with binghamton though is the business school is like the hardest program to get into, no?</p>

<p>I’d say you have a great shot at both NYU and Binghamton. You’ll probably get into both. NYU isn’t an Ivy (although some people here on CC think so) so anything 1900+ SAT score and 92+ average gives you a good shot. If you’re applying to Stern School for Business, that’s going to be harder to get into because there’s so much more competition. You’ll need a higher SAT score and GPA for a good chance at that. Although, your stats aren’t horrible now. The regular NYU liberal arts college is easier to get into. Can you go there and major in business? I’d do that if I were you.</p>

<p>Good chances at Binghamton (probably a high safety). NYU is definitely possible, though maybe a bit harder if you’re going for Stern. But with your ACT score, I think you’ll have a relatively good chance at Stern anyway because your grades are good.</p>
