<p>In short yes. Also, I second your decision to go into BiochemE instead of Biochem. Biochem is really only good if you want to go to prof school (med, dent, etc) or if you’re smart enough for a PhD. at a good school.</p>

My dad is in biomedical engineering and he is in researching.so I am Sure you will get into reasearching, but watchout if you get a jobs as a professor , then it will be kind of hard to get jobs for reasearching again.
