Would business subjects offset math grades?

Hi, so my question is, if a student was to get only an average grade in math...say a B, but got all As in the business subjects (i.e. Principles of Accounts, Principles of Business, Economics), when this student was going to apply to college for business majors/schools, would the not so stellar math grades be that detrimental? I ask this because I know that a lot of the business schools look for a strong math curriculum and tests and what not, however, seeing as though its a business school/major, and that person did exceptionally well in the business subjects, would they still care about the math grades? I would think that the business subjects would be of much more importance to a business school than the math grades but I really have no idea. Can anyone shed some light on this topic please?

Thank You.

I don’t know how mathy business courses get, but economics beyond intro relies on calculus and statistics.

I suspect that it depends on the selectivity of the business program. The top business programs would definitely care about less-than-stellar math grades. (Heck, they care about less-than-stellar anything!) Less selective programs are more forgiving.
