Would colleges question this?

All throughout high school I've only gotten As (A+, A, A-) as final grades (like quarter, semester, etc) with all honors and AP classes.

However next year, I'm taking an extremely rigorous course at my school (mainly due to how the teacher teaches it.)

What if I get a B in a class, or even a C? Will they question that? Would they say "What happened? What changed?" I'm still going to study and try my hardest like I've been doing, but what if I don't get an A in all of my classes like I have been? I'll be applying early decision this fall, would this hurt me? Even if I apply regular?

I'm being legitimately serious... It's more paranoia than anything, but I just had to ask. thank you.

A C maybe… I highly doubt they’ll question a B though.

If you seriously have all As other than that one class, they’ll probably guess that there was an unusually difficult teacher involved. If you try your hardest in the class, a lower grade shouldn’t be a big deal unless you’re dead-set on the Ivies or something.

If the classes are much harder (like AP next year versus regular and honors for your previous As), then no a B is fine. I had one B grade this year each semester in 1 AP that was really hard and As in all others. It was just fine.

the classes are at the same level i’ve been doing (next year 3 aps and 1 honors versus now 3 aps 2 honors)

its just that one (possibly two) will be a lot more rigorous than my APs this year…

idk. thanks for calming me down a little bit lol.

the closer college admissions comes, the more nervous i get, esp since im doing ED
