Would Harvard Economics or Wharton be harder to gain admission to?

I’m currently deciding a school to EA/ED. Any opinions/advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

You can’t apply to or gain admission to Harvard Economics as an undergrad. You would apply to Harvard College, and if you are accepted and decide to attend, chose to declare Economics as your concentration during the first semester of your sophomore year.

oh, thanks for the clarification. would you say Harvard college or Wharton is more competitive in its applicants?

This from another thread

Based on the above, Harvard, with an overall acceptance rate of about 5% would seem to more competitive.

It is harder to get into Harvard college than it is to get into Wharton. On the other hand, if you are serious about business, and someday hope to get an MBA… You could go to both schools anyway!
