<p>I am a senior in nj nd last yr I got a 227 on PSAT. Does PSAT still matter for finalists? Or after u become a semi it doesn't matter anymore? Know I will just make semi in nj. Does that mean I will not be a finalist? If not wht r my chances? 2360 sat 4.2 weighted 3.8 unweighted. </p>

<p>It looks to me like you would be in good shape. Be sure to get all your paperwork in time, don’t slack on your essay when the time comes, stay on the good side of your school principal this fall, etc. 15,000 of the 16,000 semis get to finalist, so your odds are very good. And quite a few of those that don’t never finish their paperwork or something like that.</p>
