4.1W, 35ACT, waiting on dec subj tests.
A/A- Avg for math,sci,history,latin. B+ avg for english (i suck at writing hehe). B+ in ceramics and B/B+ in theology classes. 5 aps with BC, Physics C Mech, latin, lit, econ (Bio last year). those are the highest classes my school offers and afaik we aren’t linked with a comm college for doing higher level stuff
i don’t do any stem related EC, I do stage crew for theatre and i run the gamer’s club
only awards are for latin (NLE maxima cum laude medals)
my only redeemable hook would be URM (AA) but idk fam
lol i hate ever finding this site, i feel like a pleb kid when im taking stuff like BC which is a strong class but paling in comparison to these kids who are taking BC freshman year and taking 11 dimensional wizardry in their senior year
Recalculate your gpa without the ceramics and theology and see what you get. Most schools recalculate gpa and don’t include art, PE, music, theology (though Catholic colleges will keep that in).
What is your math sub score on the ACT?
@wisteria100 oh lol that was a 34 on math, i had 36E, 34M, 35R 35S
3.69 UW w/o fine arts and theology, not much change lol
4.23 W w/o fine art and theology, wow that really was a jump
not sure if this is significant but AP are restrictive at my school, so you can’t really take an AP unless they approve you
only 30 kids at my school of 1200 were permitted to take BC (it’s 30 kids in one class too lol), 11 kids in AP Latin 4
No telling. Just be sure you have a solid list besides MIT that you can are more likely to get into, can afford, and would be happy to attend. Then if you get in, great.
