Just wondering: I have some friends who toured schools and then proceeded to email their tour guide frequently, email administration, etc. If you have a legit question would this help or hurt you? I'm sure they know when you're just b.s.ing them....

So what do you guys think? As a rule, students should attempt to contact admissions people to "get your name in there" or does it look stupid? This thread is a little silly I know. Totally just curious, not planning on it or anything. JUST wondering.

I realize I started 3 threads in one day… sorry guys. It’s just that I’m new to CC and am a little excited about the possibilities… haha. Just tryin it out.

Im pretty sure they dont keep a record for interest via email…

I don’t really think frequent emails to anyone in admissions will help your cause. If anything, I try not to email anyone in admissions unless I really need an answer to question or concern. Whenever they reply, I email them to say thank you, but I don’t go any further than that. I’m sure they’re deluged with plenty of email and other things to deal with as it is.

If you get in, you could always send them flowers. :)

Not planning on it (if it’s good for your chances) – riiiiiight… Yet you posted a thread about it.

Haha okayyy thanks guys :)

And yes, I realized the stupidity of this thread after I posted it… lol. I’ll be more considerate in the future. But thanks for replying anyway :)
