I have a 3.6 GPA and a 35 ACT and only recieved a $4000 a year dean’s scholarship. I expected way more and it will be difficult for me to attend Indiana with only $4000 a year. I know most of the people who got good scholarships use Indiana as a safety, and will most likely never go there and cash out on those scholarships. Would it be a bad idea to try asking Indiana for more money? I feel like my stats should amount for a bit more.
IU values GPA more than test scores, and your test score is way better than your GPA. You could try to ask for more, but the answer will probably be no. $4000 is about what I would expect a student with those stats to get.
