I really doubt anything will happen, but I won’t lie that I’m a teensy bit worried that the bane of my existence, AP Lit, will ruin my scholarship (probably not gonna take the exam either lol). Every single one of my classes has been an A or B up to this point.
@QuestionerZ I don’t believe your “Finalist” status would be revoked, though that grade might have implications for any institutional scholarship at your chosen college (doubtful, IMO, but it’s worth a thought). My older DS is attending a state school on a NM Scholarship (from the institution itself), and there are various requirements for him there - like 3.5 GPA, no arrest record, enrollment each semester of the scholarship with no semesters off, etc. But his 2nd semester senior HS grades had no bearing on this particular scholarship. It was all locked-down by April 1 of his senior year.
I would not worry at this point, but if you have any concerns - go talk with your guidance counselor. AP Lit is a hard class. My DS Class of 2018 is taking it this year and it’s largely sucking the fun out of his senior year.
Congratulations to you on a job well done in high school! If you’re an NMF with As and Bs on your transcript so far, you have a lot to be proud of. Remember that, and have a great finish to your senior year!
