Would 'Political Science' be applicable enough in the business world?

I was thinking in dual majoring in Computer Engineering+Business Administration because I want to help fight against the major corporations because they are the main cause of all the economic problems throughout the world and I believe that computers are the most important technology to provide to the public.

But I was thinking about Political Science because I plan on getting involved with politics and I have read that it deals a lot with economics and was wondering would this degree hold me back in the business world?

Your desire to fight against corporations is more likely to hold you back in the business world. In general, a Poli Sci degree does not require many Econ classes, either. That said, my kid with a Poli Sci degree works for a fairly large corporation. And you can take more Econ classes if you want to.

Agreed with intparent. Do you want to get involved with politics or business? It sounds unclear. Your first paragraph indicates that you essentially want to become a hacker for Anonymous, but your second paragraph indicates that you want to get involved with either politics or business.

If your question is whether a political science degree will hold you back in the business world, the answer is no, although there are some companies that still look only for specific degrees (of which political science is not one). I graduated with a polisci degree and have had a successful start to my career in business… of course, I have no problem selling my soul to the Man - the Man pays pretty well.
