Would someone please be willing to read/score my AP Euro FRQ?

Hey there!

I wrote an FRQ for AP Euro purely for myself in order to prepare for the test. My AP Euro teacher is absolutely terrible and is so far behind that I recently took the initiative to study on my own, as the class is still stuck on (pre)WWI issues.

So, I was wondering if someone would be so kind as to read an FRQ I wrote and then give it a score? My teacher never even bothers to read them herself and just asks us to exchange and peer-grade them, and since my class is full of unmotivated people, they don't even bother reading it. I figured someone with experience (as in everyone here!) would read and score it.

If you would be so kind as to do so, please reply here and I will send you it on private message!

Here's the prompt:
Describe & analyze the differences in ways in which artists and writers portrayed the individual during the Italian Renaissance & the Romantic era of the late 18th & early 19th century.

Thank you so much! :]

Absolutely, though I’ll need to brush up on the information in it, since my class writes FRQs and DBQs fairly often, I can probably be of some use. I don’t know the specific guidlines for FRQs like I do for DBQs, I can look at teacher critiques of my past ones; I feel like I can help at least a bit, if you’d like.

By the way, my teacher’s phenomenal, she intensively trains you on how to write the different types of essays, and I think at the moment I have a low A in the class so yeah, just PM me, or email me at Bandandsoccerandscouts@Gmail.com. Since I only get in CC at night, email’ll get you a quicker response.

PS- for FRQs, unbalanced historical knowledge of the topic and cramming of ENTIRELY irrelevant facts are the enemy, as well as a weak thesis that doesn’t cite a SPECIFIC later-mentioned example of each thing you’re asked to write about. Best of luck, talk soon, I’d presume!
