Would this be considered an upward trend?

freshmen gpa: 3.7 (0AP;s)
sophmore gpa: 4.0 wieghted (2 AP's)
junior gpa: 4.66 first trimester (4.66 max), 4.66 second trimester for sure(possible 5.0), my max gpa for third trimester is 4.33 (3 AP's)

is that considered an upward trend? because the AP seminars in third trimester don't count for AP credit, the gpa max drops.

I guess it’s a slight upward trend but I think upward trends are more impressive when there’s a significant change in grades (C’s or D’s to straight A’s)

It would be considered “good grades.” “Good grades” is better than “upward trend.”

Thanks for opinions. My lowest trimester gpa was a 3.5 and it is up 1.1 points to a 4.6. So I was wondering if it’ll show more selective schools that I am at my prime and college ready unlike 2 years ago

You are looking pretty good. Keep it up!
