I am still undecided whether I should apply to business or engineering major. For example, at UMich, should I apply to Ross BBA or Engineering or both if I'm interested in both?

I like Math, so I could do Finance/Accounting, EECS or both. One thing that throws me off is that most large schools seem to churn out 1000 business graduates for 50 that come out in EECS. Is this because Engineering is too hard or people drop out of other majors and end up doing a Business major?

Business does not use as much math as you might think. Accounting uses high school algebra and finance does not use too much more than that. However, it is required to take at least calc 1 and stats.

My friends who are engineering majors do nothing but math in all their classes.

If you graduate from Ross with a decent GPA you will definately have a job.

Engineering tends to be more difficult (in large part due to the math) so students tend to move from that to other disciplines, including business.
