<p>So I've finally finished the first drafts of my main essay and Why Chicago? essay. Favorite things is still being completed. I've been lurking and posting around these parts for a while now, watching anxiously as many of you were accepted last year. I'd really, really appreciate for you fine folks to check out my essays and compliment me, criticize me, or whatever you see fit. I don't know if I was really able to get my passion for Chicago across in these essays so I'd love for some response on that.</p>

<p>Remember, too, these are the first drafts and I don't expect them to stay the same. So if you'd like to read them, please post here or send me a message and I'll be more than happy to send them to you. People who are not applying this year only please!</p>
