People skills vs. book smarts? People skills, given that I wouldn’t be a total idiot.
I’m both so it doesn’t really matter. Haha asking this on a college forum where 95% of the kids are already smart was such a good idea
Since j live in a competitive area where there are many smart people, you’re the most popular if you are an athlete or if you’re in between the top 5% and 15% if that makes sense.
Oh you KNOW you can be both (speaking from experience). In our school, it’s an interesting mix of both- most ‘popular’ ones are smart (I would say I’m pretty smart) while those that aren’t are not like that on purpose. You don’t have to choose between one or the other 
It’s just that studying can get hard considering I go out so much but I’ve started to limit it now and I actually like the balance I’ve got.
In my school everyone gets along pretty well. There are “geeky” kids, but they don’t get bullied.
I’d rather be smart. Being popular doesn’t matter after high school.
Lol I’d rather be smart, but at my school, all the popular kids are smart. Like literally 80% of the people in any sport are in honors/AP classes. (excluding basketball, which happens to have less popular & less smart people)
In terms of stereotypes- popular. Ignorance is bliss…
