Would you recycle an essay with a very eccentric prompt?

I've written an essay for UChicago, the "Find X" prompt, and I would love to use it for the free topic essay supplements to other colleges, including Harvard. However, since the "Find X" prompt is pretty unique to Chicago, do you think other schools would look at my recycle-job as lazy? Or do you think they won't care that the essay was originally for another school so long as it says something about me? Thanks for any comments :]

Colleges are used to kids recycling essays, particularly schools (like Harvard) that have open-ended supplements.

However, make sure it is relevant to each college. Perhaps what you reveal in that essay doesn’t work as well with your Harvard application package. I know that each of my applications is tweaked slightly to better conform to the essays or lack thereof of each college–ie, my Harvard app focuses almost entirely on creative writing, since their supplement is open-ended, while my writing takes a backseat to more academic pursuits in more directed supplements.

Thanks for the advice. I think it should be okay then because the Chicago prompt was very abstract and I used it to be creative and reflective. Since the Harvard supplement is also very open ended, creative and reflective should work well there too.
