WOW! Men's Ice Hockey

<p>Oh my goodness! For anyone who dismisses sports at Yale, check out the men's ice hockey team. Just watched one of the most exciting sporting events ever. We had to go to a sports bar because we did not have espnu at home. So our cheering was not in sync with those watching NCAA B-ball!</p>

<p>The men's ice hockey team just advanced to the final 8 on their march to the NCAA Frozen Four in MN. Yale (#1 seed) faced Air Force who beat them during the regular season. The first period went scoreless, Yale scored early in the second period, AF came back with a goal later in the period, and the third period was also scoreless. That brought the two teams to a sudden death playoff. YALE scored and advanced to tomorrow night's round.</p>

<p>It was truly one of the most exciting games I have ever watched. The team was assisted by the presence by members of the YPMB as well as their goalie Rondeau.</p>

<p>Tomorrow night's game will be broadcast by espnu - these guys are amazing!!!!!</p>

<p>Hooray for the hockey team. Also, women’s squash is national champ and men’s squash is Ivy champ/national runner up. Crew and fencing are contenders year after year. Yale sports are awesome! YPMB = AWESOME!</p>

<p>I am so pumped for them. And for the band if they follow them to MN - although the mom in me wonders how in the name of heavens DD will get all her work finished if she is going to MN???</p>
