wow- sure glad we paid deposit last year.

This past fall, Western had almost 10,000 applicants for 3,500 openings.

Local News | New prexy of Western Wash. Univ. is learning fast | Seattle Times Newspaper

I have been very impressed with the recent grads I have been working with lately coming out of Western.

Only wish it was a little less rainy.

Less rainy? EK you are in Seattle- is it less rainy there than Bellingham?

MY DD would not have looked at WWU in HS, a very ordinary mid sized public, she had to have the UC prestige. Now doing graduate work at WWU (and having taken UG summer courses) she is very impressed with the profs, the programs, the ability to learn from a prof who speaks English and who does not have 1200 students in their Ochem class. She really has enjoyed her time there and Bellingham is a cute college town to live in.

I do think Bellingham is rainier than Seattle
more snow too
It has been pretty nice in Seattle today 58 & sunny- hard to believe it is mid November.
Glad she likes Bellingham- the campus is very pretty - especially if you get it on a sunny day.
