I need some help comparing the Mechanical Engineering departments of WPI and Tufts. Also, what do you think about WPI Aerospace Engineering? I have searched some rankings and it is nowhere to be found.
Thank you!

Reputation-wise, Tufts is stronger overall but in engineering, they are about the same with WPI being somewhat stronger. Both Tufts and WPI have primarily regional engineering reputations; they are known qute well in the northeast and less so by engineers elsewhere. The undergraduate Aerospace Engineering program at WPI is quite strong, although I am not sure whether we have a graduate program in aero.

However, if you are looking for interesting and challenging courses outside engineering or are unsure about engineering as a major, Tufts may be a better choice.
