Hey guys,
For some of my college essays I've been writing about stuff I feel passionate about rather than stuff I've done. Is this ok?
Example: I've written about a particular aspect of a sport that I find interesting and I think admissions will too. But I don't really talk about myself. But you can tell that I really think it's cool and that I'm passionate about it.
Is this ok?

Make sure it at least shows your characteristics such as passion and dedication. Those intangible qualities are the ones adcoms seek to glean from an essay

Yeah, I guess it’s not an “experience” i’ve had, but my thoughts on something that I care about. I dunno. That’s me. I like to think.

Bump. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
