Writing about my IB extended essay for admissions essay?

So I did my IB extended essay in chemistry. I was thinking about writing about it for my admissions essay. I was thinking about a bit on what it was about, and how the exposure to using lab equipment allowed me to understand certain concepts better.
However, I'm not sure whether it's a good idea and would appreciate if someone who has done it or someone who has experience can tell me how admissions officers look at such essays. Thanks!

That’s a terrible idea (I also had to do the IB extended essay btw Physics On Supergravity theories) because that is wholly uninteresting and says very little about you and why you would be a good fit in University X.
