Writing for Screen and Television - School of Cinematic Arts

I may be interested in applying to this program in the fall, since I'm a HS junior now. But would the program benefit me more as an undergraduate or a graduate student?

Also, I read that only 24 UG and 32 graduate students are admitted. Does anyone know how many usually apply?

A lot, it's incredibly competitive, maybe not as competitive as the production major but the film school is the most competitive school at USC to get into.

I just got into the Writing for Screen and Television major a few weeks ago. As far as I know, the undergrad/grad programs are pretty similar in terms of what they teach.

As for how many apply, I believe it is typically in the several hundreds or so.

Edit to add: I'm a current USC student (transferred here in the fall), so I essentially switched majors and will graduate in 2011, when I'm 24.
