writing for the sciences

Hey everyone,

So I know that med school requires a full year of writing. I'm planning to take a course called "Writing for the Sciences". Would this count? Or are they looking more for a literature-based course or something?

Sure that would work - what department is it in?

Med schools require a year of "English", not necessarily writing or literature. So any course in the English department would work, as would any other class designated as "writing intensive" or whatever similar designation your school has (as long as it is noted as such on your transcript).

It's in the literature department, so I guess it works! thanks
