for the Anteater's Guide to Writing and Rhetoric, is it necessary that i buy the 2nd edition or would the 1st edition be okay?
i'm not sure what the difference is..

always buy the latest edition just to be safe.

i would have sold you mine for $20, never used too, but i forgot it at home T_T

i never ever read that book (i had 39B and 39C), you probably wont either.

awww hmmm then should i buy the latest version for $26 or the older version for $18? or wait till class starts to ask the prof?

u definitely dont need it the first week of school, so wait and check with prof

i dont know why people are always in a rush to buy books. most of the time, books arent need till mid 2nd week.

i like to wait, that way i dont screw myself over buying a book i dont need or by getting the wrong edition.

Because everyone fears, as do I, that we’re going to get homework the first week out of the book.

And even if you don’t need it 'till mid-2nd week, what about shipping time, if you want to get it from a second hand retailer?

email your professor and ask, thats what i did :)

i emailed my professor, and he recommended that we have the newest edition, but i think it might vary depending on who your professor is. so i recommend, like waitlisted10, emailing your professor about it.

hmm my prof hasn’t replied to my previous email about textbooks and it’s been like 2 wks lol
