<p>Basically I thought I decided to be super responsible and start filling out the Common App now, but apparently that doesn't actually come out until August 1 and I was working on the 2013 one. I only realized this after the colleges I put into the list of colleges I'd like to go to all said their deadlines passed. Anyways, I'm a bit worried that I won't be able to make a new account with the exact same information as this one for 2014. How could I cancel my account, or switch it? Or does the CA automatically clear all the information after July 15?</p>
<p>You just make a new one for the upcoming year.</p>

<p>Think about it, then everyone who takes a gap year and reapplies would also have to inform CA… And to my knowledge, they don’t. </p>
<p>Plus, they send us (I applied in the 2012-2013 round) an email telling us none of our stuff will be saved and the next (2013-2014) application is completely separate from the current one. </p>
