I have a problem. When I was filling out my UC app I asked my mom for the family income, she said 45k a year. I was filling out my FAFSA earlier today and since it asked for the tax forms my mom gave them to me. As I was reading the forms I noticed the income is different from what I was told. Should I email/call UC, and tell them there’s been a mistake ?
The income listed on the UC application is for informational purposes only. The financial aid office will use what you have submitted on your FASFA so no worries.
Okay thank you, I was worried because with the income my mom told me I qualified for waivers. But with the income on the tax forms I’m not so sure if I would’ve qualified, so I was wondering if I should call UC because of that. I don’t want them to think I lied
