I was wondering what would happen if you wrote the wrong address on the PSAT, not email address. Will that affect anything?

I don’t think so. Your scores will be sent to your school. If you qualify for the National Merit Scholar Semifinalist, your counselor will give you instructions on the application for the NMSF. You can enter the accurate info at that time.

It just means that someone else will be getting all the spam intended for you based on your PSAT scores. Anything official would be send via your school or US Mail.

Thank you so much for your replies ^^!

Its actually better!! I wrote the wrong email address when i took the PSATs. Its kinda of blessing in disguise. You won’t get all the college crap that they try and send you

Woah really? I thought that the school would inform me of my wrong address… ^^;

your school isn’t going thru records to look for typos. It’s not their job. But relax – it’s fine. What if you had plans to move in a few months and even if you’d put an actual address down correctly. Would that affect you? Not at all.
