The encouragement to look at colleges in Soph year.</p>

<p>At least at the state level, recruiting international students and oos students for the higher tuition fees and diversity factor is going to raise the ire of taxpayers who's children were shut out of the flagship schools. </p>

<p>Look for a flood of newly minted private college counselors advertising a way to get your student the edge.</p>

<p>I hope this all cools down in a few years when my youngest applies.</p>

<p>By the way, I calculated the RD acceptance rates for Harvard and Princeton... we're talking in the 6% range...</p>
