Just curious how many people actually knew the main event ends tonight (early tomorrow morning). A lot of my friends who were really into poker had no clue it was going on right now. They're down to eight now, Jamie Gold is the overwhelming chip leader(33M of 88M), and Allen Cunningham is the only "real pro" left.

sucks that Einhorn got knocked out at 18th place (he promised to give every penny he won to charity)

Yeah, I thought it was interesting that Cunningham was the only real pro left, I'm guessing Jamie Gold will take it.

wow, yeah, ive watched most of the main event coverage in 2003-2005, i had no idea it had even started, let alone almost finished

yeah i knew...i don't know why but i love watching that WSOP. probably b/c i have to since there's sometimes nothing better on.

nah, but i wish that i could play a round w/ some of those people and see how hard it is. they make it look so easy and natural.

There's a lot of luck involved in the WSOP...as we've seen in the past few years, any half-decent player has a shot.

Check out some of the high-limit cash games in Vegas, and you'll see some REAL pros.
