<p>I’m just gonna be honest, your test scores are average and maybe even a little weak. One major thing that I would say is that your extracurriculars don’t really match your intended major. For example, many people doing a bio major would have like Science Olympiad or Science UIL. Overall, you seem to be an average applicant, and hopefully your essays helped you stand out. <p>@rango141 My school has absolutely no science olympiad, mu alpha theta, or anything of the sort. I tried to start a science olympiad, but could not gather a team. I even tried to start a science tutoring club, but that didn’t pan out either.</p>

<p>OP if you were RDing I would have said it’s a low reach but since you are EDing, I would say wustl is a mid to high match. Just make sure to have solid essays as your ECs are a tad lackluster and maybe don’t make u stand out as much as you should 
your test scores are great though so with a sick essay I think you will get in!</p>

<p>I’d say RD is a bit of a reach but you got a good shot ED. Weaknesses seem to be lack of coherence in activities with essay and intended major. Now if there is obvious passion in your essay and your teachers shine light upon your passion(s) then you have a good shot, but from an outsider perspective the extracurriculars aren’t bad, just don’t seem to match with you strongest interests much. Overall good shot…regular impossibility of sure choice due to the high selectivity of the school </p>
<p>ED low reach. I would estimate a 25% chance of admittance which is good for anybody considering their acceptance rate is around 15.5%</p>
<p>@amorgancc96 @Bailkun I realize my EC’s are a bit scattered (they don’t go with each other). But I don’t see the problem that they don’t align with my major. My school doesn’t have any sort of science group, and I just recently figured out that Bio is what I want to study. Why would that be held against me?</p>
<p>Nothing wrong with scattered ECs at all. Your stats are respectable, but for this school are average. But I felt that overall your application has no weaknesses, and is strong overall. Hence, my 25% estimation.</p>
<p>@Bailkun Thank you DIdn’t mean to come off mean or anything. I just don’t understand the whole EC’s align with major thing. Some people don’t even know what they want to do! Plus “biology club” or “chemistry club”… sound awful lol. Something a kid would do just to get to college… ya know?</p>
<p>My best friend is also applying ED from our school with a perfect gpa, 34 act, 800 math ii and other really good subject tests (not sure of the exact scores), and really good ec’s (focused on service, music, with a few miscellaneous)… That will definitely hurt me… yes?</p>
<p>If you both applied for the same major/college, it will almost certainly make a difference. How significant? I can’t say. But it would be a factor for sure. If not, then it would not make much difference. Unless your school population is tiny.</p>
<p>On other note, about the ECs. In general, schools do not care so much about the subject matter of ECs as they do the passion and dedication. Does it matter that you did a Chemistry club versus Math club? Nope. Not one bit. Anyone who says otherwise is trying to convince himself it does.</p>
<p>I think she applied for Computer Engineering. Hahaha she will totally get in (as I hope she does). I just hope I pull through too.</p>

<p>@kteahy…same thing with what bailkun said. Still you have that chance and there is noting wrong with it, especially if your school doesn’t offer it. Schools want to see passion and care for what your interests are. If you do that you’ll be fine. It’s just hard to judge that sort of thing from the outside because we receive few details about these activities and don’t see your essay</p>

<p>Wow, that is a quick turn around. Don’t they accept ED to November 15th? I wish UPenn was that fast… haha oh well it’s just so stressful knowing they’ve pretty much already finished all their decisions. </p>
