oh dearrr now I really wish I’d retaken or not reported some of my lower subject tests.

you can tell that all this is getting to me; last night I dreamed that I got a 400 on the november literature subject test D: lol it was horrible…I just really hope I don’t do badly because my scores are being sent to yale before I see what they are. nervous much? yes.

No worries - just breathe and relax.
After taking the SAT Reasoning Test for the first time, I was relatively confident and ended up receiving a much lower score than I had expected. The second time, I was too scared to even look at my score until the afternoon that scores were released, and got a much higher score than I expected. So you never know. :)

And ZishuAW - I never responded to you before but I’d like to wish you the best of luck. Chances are certainly lower for internationals, but you have a better shot than most. Mainland must be extremely competitive these days…I’m almost glad I moved overseas at a young age. I hope you receive good news on December 15th. :)

Wow, is it just me or are the people posting on this forum waaay more competitive than the people last year (judging from stats). This is really making me nervous!! = D

As people have said before, though, I really really REALLY think that everyone posting here on CC is unique- we’re the best of the best, not to sound arrogant or anything. But I feel like the average person applying to Yale EA isn’t going to have +2300, 4.0 stats… so it really isn’t fair to gauge yourself against everyone else’s stats here. It’s almost (knock on wood) like comparing yourself to everyone who’s GOING to get accepted, as opposed to everyone applying.
Smiile, everyone!! And hang in there :)

Oh and sorry for double posting but- a huuuge welcome to all the Chinese people here! yayyy China pride I remember coming to America when I was five and then going back to Shanghai multiple times since then… China=amaaazing :)

fuzzy-
To a degree, I agree with you. However, go back and look at the pledge thread from last year. There only about 35% of the kids who pledged got accepted.
