I know the last few days of waiting can be brutal, but this is one of life’s lessons that you must just grin and bear. Most top students have never really been in this position before and the uncertainty can be very stressful. I went through it myself in the 70’s and my D just went through it in 2013. At this point there is absolutely nothing you can do so just enjoy the next couple of days. It’s spring (in the USA at least) so get out an enjoy some fresh air. It’s the final stretch of senior year so get a SMALL case of senioritis and just enjoy yourself. Find your prom dress, pick a destination for an after graduation celebration trip, or do something that just makes you feel good.
Yes, the vast majority of you will be disappointed with your Yale result. But I know for a fact that if you check in this time next year, you will be a happy camper at whatever school you attend. Good luck.
Is getting an interview in mid-February instead of January an indication that they are considering the application?
Cause if someone didn’t get an interview in January, that could be due to lack of interviewers. But then in February, when they read the application, and they are considering shortlisting the applicant, and taking the application to full committee review or something, but notice absence of interview report, so they then arrange for an interview for that applicant.
Has anyone noticed that the names of the teachers/counselor who wrote recommendation letters that were listed on the portal are no longer there?

No, it’s an indication that the interviewer was not available before. As I’ve said several times, read nothing into it.
