If someone applies for a second time to Yale, and had already gotten an interview last year, but gets another one this year, and that too in mid-February, is that an indication that the applicant is being considered for acceptance?
@MSYP100 whether or not/when you get an interview has almost nothing to do with your chances of being accepted
@MSYP100. No. Yale tries its best to give everybody an interview regardless of other factors. Whether there’s an interview and when depends upon the local Alumni Schools Committee, not the Admissions Committee. Some places there are too many applicants and not enough interviewers, or the interviewers might procrastinate. If you apply twice you will get interviewed twice, if possible.
Just wanted to say good luck to all of you! I remember what a stressful day it was when we were waiting two years ago. Hang in there, you’ll know soon!

Is anyone able to log into the admitted students portal (link on pg 25)?
Can you resend the link
Still says “this portal is only for admitted students” :0
yeah I can log in
seriously? @udotneb did you receive an LL?
@2021college2017 He got into Yale-NUS.
No I am not checking that link before 5 PM!!!
@IxnayBob i heard that pierson freshmen have to live in ldub. that sucks so much. SAD!
Lord O God bless my soul! Good luck to everyone who applied!
I lived in Wright Hall, now called LDub, my freshman year. Trust me, if you’re admitted, wherever you live will be great and you will bond with the other freshman and upperclassmen from your residential college. Just a few minutes more. Good luck all.
