Yale 2021 Applicants

@CheckMyBrain11 Cool!!

  1. Is this the same for Harvard and Princeton (with the music?)
  2. If one is not accepted, what does the portal says?

@QueenZi Harvard instantly says “congrats!” or “status update” which means no. I know with Princeton, there’s a tiger and the “welcome home!” or “congrats”… something generic and wholesome.

I don’t think Harvard or Princeton have music.

@CheckMyBrain11 Thanks! you have been helpfull

I also suspect it’s like the SCEA notification as others do in this form which is “There is an update available as of X”
(But that may only be for non-accepts LOL because that’s all I’ve gotten from these sorts of portals)

Out of curiosity, do all of your portals have “Regular Decision” in red letters. I’m not trying to predict the decision or anything, but I just thought it was odd to have red lettering.

Exciting isn’t it? :D/

Mine has red lettering. I think you are really over stressing at this point-do you really think the color of the letters indicate an admission decision? LOLOLOL

But I’m just as nervous as you…

It’s been a truly crazy-making week, and I am incredibly nervous.
But before tomorrow, I just want to say good luck to all!
You are all strong, motivated, intelligent people who will do great no matter what (as if you guys haven’t heard that enough times haha).
Best of luck, and boola boola!

Hopefully we can all shout Boola Boola at our first college football game!

Hey guys! Just wanted to wish everyone here good luck with the upcoming notifications! This is the end of a long, stressful process, and it is the beginning of an exciting journey! That is true regardless of any specific decisions you may receive. I know that doesn’t mean much right now, and I would probably have felt the same way when I was at this point last year. Still, its true, and we at Yale are sending you tons of love and good vibes!!! Boola Boola <3

Are you a student or an AO?

Me? Im a student.

@CheckMyBrain11 Wait… for harvard, if it says “Status update” on the link to the letter instead of immediately “congratulations” it’s a rejection? or do you actually have to go click on the link…?

i think you have to actually click on the status update

My twin sister was admitted EA to Harvard. She had to click on the status update. However, before she did that, below the button that said “status update” there was a button that said “information for admitted students”

It seems that people who did not report AP scores on the CommonApp and were contacted to submit scores may be considered for admission.

Happy Ivy Day Bulldogs!

Guys, I am an international applicant from India and just noticed that my teachers didnt submit the recommendations and transcript till 17th of March. Do you think that those documents would have been evaluated?

@seveneleven711 It’s possible as they say they’ve been making decisions down to the last minute. They probablypossibly put your file aside until it was complete with letters. But that’s just a guess. All you can do is hope.

Thanks
