Does anyone know when decisions are released? Last year, it was December 14 (a Thursday), so this leads me to believe that it will be tomorrow, December 13 (a Thursday).

@ctgirl2019 the application confirmation email specifically says the early action decision will be released on Friday, December 14, 2018 (in the evening), as does the application portal.

People are still writing short take essays, @dreamthief001 , so itās not a good idea to put them online. If you get deferred your application may be run through an online plagiarism checker when they go to regular round decisions, and any distinctive wording you used might raise the red flag.

This past week I got really good news in terms of really awesome extracurricular accomplishments. I conveyed these through my admissions portal today, but I highly doubt itāll affect the result Iām going to get on Friday. But hopefully, if Iām deferred, itāll positively have an impact when theyāre re-evaluating my application. Iām so nervous for Friday even though Iām pretty convinced itāll be a deferral (I just pray Iām not rejected outright)

@heyhowareYou2019 So for the class of 2021 (a different ivy, though), the decision was supposed to be posted online at 3, but my brother checked the portal at 2:30 and received it. Maybe itās different, but if you want to do so, itās an idea! (:
