lucya: read post 335

@lucya01995 you’re fine! It could be that you live in an area where there aren’t enough alumnus interviewers, so the university can’t hold it against you. You might still be contacted, though. I had a similar problem–I submitted my application on October 29th and I wasn’t contacted until just recently. Best of luck!!

Just had my interview! It was an hour and a half long. Now, just to wait another 19 days!

My daughter and nephew both applied early to Yale and haven’t been contacted for an interview. Since I know Yale interviewed locally last year, this is a surprise. But perhaps they don’t have someone this year? Has anyone in the Central Ohio region had an interview?

OHmyDD95, it might just simply mean that your local alumni interviewer hasn’t contacted your daughter yet or that your daughter simply will not be offered one this year for other reasons. Either way, it won’t hurt her chances at all.

had my interview on Friday, it lasted about 90min! interviewer was pretty cool and the whole atmosphere was rly relaxed. Now all we gotta do is wait!! :)

for those who had an interview, how did they contact you? by email or phone?

I was contacted by e-mail.

@lucya e-mail, I haven’t heard of anyone contacted by phone.

Phone here

I just had my interview today! It lasted a little over 30 minutes. It was very relaxed and took place in my alum’s kitchen!

And I was contacted by email!

I was contacted by email. My interview lasted around 45 minutes… it could have gone on longer but I had to leave for a prior engagement (although I told my interviewer about it beforehand!).

I’m so incredibly nervous/excited for December 15, yikes

^Notification is on December 14th.

One day earlier!

Quick question: On my application status page, there is a red X next to my mid-year report. I asked my guidance counselor about it and she told me that a mid-year report is strictly first semester grades, so my application is fine. I wanted to double check with you guys though - Are you all missing a mid-year report as well?

OHmyDD95:

I’m in your area. I submitted a week before the deadline and haven’t gotten an interview. Good to know I’m not the only one.

18 days! The suspense is starting to kick in
