does anyone know if they will push back the deadline for EA, like Columbia did because of the hurricane?

I bet that if you email them, they’ll give you some leeway, or even have more incentive to push it back.

There’s gonna be an update at 6:30PM, so we’ll probably know then.([University Announcements | Emergency Management at Yale](http://emergency.yale.edu/university-announcements))

I sent them an email like yesterday about testing so i dont want to seem like annoying by emailing them too much!

Deadline’s extended to Nov. 5th for “affected students”. [Home | Yale College Admissions](http://admissions.yale.edu/)

Pressing submit is very difficult. How did you all do it?

I don’t give a damn if it’s risky, I’m not pressing submit until I have to. What if I want to change something?

Submitted my application last night. Now the waiting game begins!

Question: Is the deadline one minute after 11:59pm, Oct 31st or the same after 11:59pm Nov 1st?

Send it before November 2nd EST.

some im way too in love with Yale not to do EA but my sats are holding me back, do you guys think it is worth the risk

Ahhh…I’m really sorry, but if your recent chance thread is up to date, it really is a waste to play the early admissions game that way. If you improved your scores in December and applied RD, you’d actually have a better chance of getting in.

But applying early simply doesn’t significantly help the chances of those applicants who are the least (or most) qualified. You have to be in the middle.

You’d have better, though doubtful odds, applying ED to JHU, but even then…

Ah, gotcha. Thanks, now I have one more day than I thought!

Good luck, dude.

“Please read the language on our website closely. If you have been directly affected by the hurricane, then the deadline has been extended. If not, then the Nov. 1st deadline remains.”

Just submitted my app for SCEA!

When do I need to turn in my CSS Profile by? If (assuming I’m admitted- which is a big assumption!) I want to get a financial aid package on December 15?

The CSS is due on November 1, along with your parents’ tax returns and such.

According to their website, Nov. 1st

ahhhh!!!

Okay, what else am I missing? Besides the application, what else am I missing?
