Anyone gotten an Eli account yet?

I have an Eli Account. I got the email a week after submitting. It makes everything more real somehow. Scarier, too. :)

I don’t have one yet. I submitted mine on the 20th, and with the whole Hurricane Sandy thing… yeah, haha.

I just sent all my SAT scores today to Yale, without using the rushing service… I know it takes 2 weeks to get to Yale… will I be fine for SCEA or am I screwed…

Koreanblood777, you’ll be fine.

Dramafox8, have you gotten an interview yet?

I live in upstate New York, and my school was cancelled for the past 2 days, but I didn’t lose power or anything, am I an “affected” student?

CantConcentrate, I haven’t been offered an interview yet. Do you think that means I won’t get one, or is it still early?

I got my Eli account a week ago. Haven’t heard anything about an interview.

hey guys, quick qn: does Yale grant interviews to international applicants in their home countries?

Anyone forget to mention an achievement on their app and only realize after submitting it? Ughhhhhh -_____- I forgot two awards but they were minor so whatever…

Dramafox8, it’s still early. I was just asking because I was curious, haha.

Watchmesoar, when did you submit your app? I’m still waiting for my Eli Account…

Louiespikey, yes, they will, if there is an alumni in your area.

I still don’t have an Eli account. Not surprised though, it must take some time to sort everything out, specially with my dear friend Sandy.

Anyway, how do they contact you for interviews? I’m international so I don’t think they will ever contact me but just in case it does happen.

Pretty sure that it’s through the email address that you use when you apply.

Only need to edit an essay and do the 1000 char EC writing portion on the CA and I’m done!

submitted!

is everyone here on board with posting acceptances/deferrals/rejections with their stats in December? I know this has been done in previous years, and it’s quite a good resource.

I’m sure that’ll immediately start happening as soon as D15 comes and people want to celebrate.

But sure, I’ll commit to posting my results, no matter what.

Wanna start a pledge thread? Not sure I wanna commit to stats, but I’ll report my result.
Yeah, I have the short answer to re-do cause I don’t like it as it is, a few edits to the supp and I think that’s it!

^Before you start a pledge thread, you need to be sure that someone is willing to collate and analyze the data. In the past, Descartesz has taken this responsibility, an applicant might want to contact him and ask if he is willing to do it again this year.

Why does the data need to be collated and analyzed?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/yale-university/1235987-offiical-yale-2016-scea-pledge-thread-9.html

I will post my stats even if I am rejected, I want to share it with the CC community.
We should start a pledge thread just to compare with past years I think
