Accepted. I stared at the computer for about 5 minutes, I couldn’t believe it was real. I still can’t believe it’s real. Can’t wait to meet you guys!!
p.s. for those deferred or rejected, you still rock!! Believe me, I stalked most of you and you’re freaking awesome, and you’re going to get into great schools. Good luck!!!

Deferred…

Deferred as expected haha

deferred as expected

Deferred. Oh wellsies. Congrats to all those accepted!

Rejected:(

Wow, they released early! Congrats or condolences, remember this is just the beginning, there’s a long way to go until April.

The Results thread is now open.

So incredibly humbled. Accepted! But there was no song or video?

You need Java on your computer for the bulldog song.

Rejected. Mehhhh. Wanted to at least get deferred but life goes on!

Accepted. Humbled and honored to have spent these last few months with you guys. To those deferred and denied, I am positive you will end up at wonderful places. Wishing you all the best in the RD round.

Rejected. Now I go cry.

Congratulations to everyone accepted.

Posting for my friend: accepted - he was really strong candidate

What do they want? Everyone in my two local schools, one who got 4 Harvard earlies and mine, with lots of ivies early and 1 Harvard early got deferred. If you want, my stats are up, would love to know the reasoning behind it. So confusing…

Keeping it in perspective though, here’s to 4 more months!

My son was accepted
stats: 36 (superscore Act
satII 800 math II and chemistry 800
highest gpa over a large class of 1500.
strong EC and excellent essay- very creative- different and out of the box thinking.
no major awards.

Congrats to everyone here! I’m so happy for you all :)

Does anyone know the percentage of deferrals who are accepted. My son was deferred. We were just wondering if they have a higher acceptance rate than regular decision applicants.

Thanks!

About 7% of deferred get accepted, same as regular RD acceptance rate.

@Litotes WHAT THE HELL??!?!??! HOW DID YOU GET A 5 ON THE AP LATIN EXAM!!??! Also, is that what your username is, that weird figure of speech?

Litotes means usually ironic understatement. Basically the opposite of hyperbole.

Anyone know if a deferred SCEA applicant who didn’t get an interview first time around can get one now?
