My guess is more or less the same. Proportionally more kids are admitted from the more populous states such as NY, CA, IL, etc. I don’t know if the ratio is absolutely straight line across all states but, in general, your odds are not better if you reside in an “underrepresented” state.

Here is some data for the last 10 years if you want to build a graph for us…

Has everyone submitted their SAT scores? This may have been due to some oversight, but I just realized that scores take 1-2 weeks to be sent. I always assumed that since everything was done through technology, it would simply take a day to send. I just sent my scores now. At max, they will receive them 1 day after the deadline. Is this bad?

I’m an International Applicant and I have a question: How exactly do we submit our resume. The activities section in the common app doesn’t allow you to mention everything with the word limit on details. So, has anybody submitted or know how to submit a resume. It would be much appreciated.

Hey guys! I got my eli account and activated it, but I cannot actually log-in to it or get to the application checklist. Are those not up yet? I wanted to be sure Yale got everything but can’t check. Thanks!

What are you guys using the Additional Information section for? Also, are any of you sending supplementary material. On their website, they seem to make it clear that they really don’t want any supplementary material.

It’s not that they don’t want it–they just don’t want it if it isn’t something new, unique, and informative about you. I sent in a jazz piano supplement. I’m not world class, but I have a unique sound, and figured they wouldn’t mind a jazz one as much as a classical (because so many more people play classical piano).

To everyone who has their Eli Account information, when did you submit your application? I applied October 19, and still haven’t received an email with the information. I checked my junk mail folder like the Yale website suggested, and (obviously) didn’t find an email there.

You can send an official ACT score report through the ACT website. You are correct that there is no way to report all of your scores through the Common Application.
