Well, this is my last post until I get my decision! Praying for you all. Excited to see who gets in. (:

Itās night time for me now~~ Hoping for good news when I wake up tomorrow. Good night and good luck for us all!!!

Good luck to everyone! An acceptance would be amazing and fantastic, but just remember that a rejection doesnāt define you. You are all wonderful, beautiful people: just have faith that itāll all work out in the end. Because it will.

D-Dayā¦ T Minus 8 hoursā¦

Good Luck to all SCEA Yale applicants today.

Am I the only one whoās already filled in the post for the decision thread? Except the decision, of course If Iām accepted Iāll be too excited to fill it in, if I donāt I might be too disappointed. I have to wait until midnight and Iām too nervous to do anything productive

Iāve had it saved on my email for months. Get on my level.

Does anyone know how weāll able to view the decision on the ELI account?

^^^

Step 1. Log in
Step 2. View decision

Lolz

Hey everyone! Good luck to you all today!!

Quick question:
Iām logged onto my eli account right now, and I donāt see a link to where I can find admissions decisions. Does that only show up when theyāre posted, or am I missing something?

Thanks!

Good Luck

Good luck for us all on D-Day!!! Finally the lengthy process of waiting will be over and whatever the results are, we will be moving a huge step forward in our college applications. We should be proud of ourselves, seriously.

Iāve been quietly reading everyoneās posts and Iāve got to say you guys are awesome! I hope everyone gets in and you all have really helped me with the emotional process of all this lol. Ughh about 6 and a half hours to go!!!

Hey guys! I was one of you last year, refreshing the college confidential page the entire day SCEA results came out. I got in SCEA and I am a freshman at Yale now. Yes Yale is awesome, but itās not perfect. When you take away the aura it kinda has for being āYaleā, you realize it is just a college, just a school. I was fairly disappointed when I arrived here in August and realized it wasnāt the utopia I had built in my dreams. Now I am not saying this to discourage anyone, but just to say, if you donāt get into Yale, it isnāt the end. Yale is just a college, and if you are truly smart and talented, you will succeed no matter where you go. Someone posted a very similar message last year about this time and I blew it off, only now after leaving high school do I realize how true it is. So good luck to everyone, and keep everything in perspective. Also, feel free to ask any Yale related questions!

@arindia556 Did you apply anywhere else after you found out you were accepted to Yale? If so, were you accepted anywhere else? Do you have any regrets about choosing Yale?

Great question. I didnāt apply anywhere else prior to finding out about Yale (except UVA, safety) and that was a huge gamble. Had I been deferred, I would have had to scramble to get my RD apps in in time. Later I applied to Harvard, rejected. Kinda happy, cause I had already mentally committed to Yale and I would have just stolen someoneās spot. No regrets about choosing Yale, it is the best school for me.

Also, one more thing, donāt feel insulted you were not accepted. Trust me, there are alot of not so smart people/not very talented people that get in. There are tons of people, who I know, who got rejected, who are way more talented than some of the people here.

Guys the website for admitted students: admits.yale.edu already says it will be open at 5:00 PM. This is so nerve wrecking. I accidentally tried to log in and it shows āSDFā on the screen, can somebody else try this?

Arindia566, I hope that I wonāt have to point your post out to my son this evening, but in case I do, thanks.

Received a voice mail message from a local alum interviewed to call on Friday to set up an interview. He said he was late in calling me, apologized. I told him i applied SCEA and he said heād get back to me. Havenāt heard back. Any thought on whether this means anything? Thanks and I wish all of you the best!

JD2014: It likely means confusion on their part. I am quite certain that the decisions are all made already. I guess if you happen to be Deferred, you can line up an interview. But hopefully you will not even need toā¦ Good Luck

Now just 4 hours awayā¦
