@zacle1234, I would reply right away that you are able to be interviewed this week. Deadlines can be flexible for an individual or two. Imagine if you don’t and are deferred, wouldn’t you always wonder if it played a role? Good luck, Yale is a great place!
If I applied SCEA and am deferred, will I have the chance to be offered an interview for RD if I haven’t already gotten one?

Hey guys, Mr Keith Light from Yale told me that he would arrange my interview next week, which means 12/7 and after. Do u think it’s too late??? I submitted my app on 10/30
@zacle1234 , take the interview, no one for sure knows if it is too late or not.
@zacle1234 even if if IS too late for SCEA, if you get deferred it will be there for RD consideration. Take the opportunity and do your best!
Does anyone have direct confirmation that decisions are out on 12/15? I tried to call the office and confirm, but they didn’t give the option to speak to an admissions officer.
@trfox7 in the Yale Application Confirmation email, it says that early action decisions will come out in the evening on December 15th.
It also gives that date on the application status portal. I think it’s a safe assumption. (12 DAYS!!!)

Quick question: If I wait until after I hear back on December 15 to send my SAT and AP scores to schools that I am applying to RD, will they arrive in time for a January 1 deadline or should I send them before I hear back from Yale?
@16elir two weeks should be fine. They don’t take that long to send
