You know, I think the thing that I want above all right now is security. I know thereā€™s other amazing schools that Iā€™d be perfectly happy attending, everything will work out in the end, yada yada yada, but thereā€™s nothing like the security of an early acceptance to an incredible school.

Rooting for all of us! It feels as if the days (and months, for those of us whoā€™ll apply RD to other schools) are dragging on forever, but this entire process will all undoubtedly seem like a mere blink in retrospect. Hang in there, everyone. <3

@freenfly The Dartmouth ED thread is DOMINATED by speculation about when decisions will be released. Also, itā€™s not nearly as active as this one. They still havenā€™t sent us the email but weā€™re speculating that itā€™ll be released on the 15th.

Waitā€¦Yale HAS sent us an email specifically about the release date?

I just remember getting the email back in November that went something like, ā€œThank you for submitting your application.ā€ Was the date stated in that, or

The date (December 15th, evening EST) is stated on the status portal.

Harvard moved up their announcements ā€“ instead of Dec. 15, they are notifying tomorrow.
