<p>Hey, for those of you applying to Y as an engineer and doing the engineering essay-- how long is yours? They say "brief" but that's slightly vague... as long as it's under a page I would think, mine's about 500 words.</p>

<p>I have not personally asked an admissions officer about it but mine was over 500 words. I was deferred SCEA.</p>
