Engineering Essay! How "brief" should it be?

<p>Prompt: "If you selected one of the engineering majors, please write a brief third essay telling us what has led you to an interest in this field of study, what experiences (if any) you have had in engineering, and what it is about Yale's engineering program that appeals to you."</p>

<p>I already had my one-page draft written... and then I saw the word "brief". Could you guys give me any ideas on how brief it should be? Thanks!</p>

<p>Mine wont be any longer than 500 words. It can’t be an essay unless it has at least 3 paragraphs.</p>
