Yale GPA

The avrage GPA admitted into Yale from my highschool is a 4.19

Is my school like really good or something because i see people talking about 4.4's and getting denied.

We get 4.0 for an A and A+ in regular classes , 4.5 for honors, and 5.0 for AP courses.
We are also required to take a religon class that counts as a 4.0 gpa if an A+ is acheaved.

It is also a private, very expensive, Cathloc, All-Boy's highschool.

Does this gradeing scale sound eny different from the one at your school?

GPA isn’t the only thing being evaluated. Also GPA context (based on offerings at the school) matters considerably.

How many got admitted and what are their ranks?

A 4.4 at one school doesn’t mean anything at another school. GPA scales, class difficulty, and school environments are way too different to just compare the raw numbers from two different high schools.
