Can you think of any Yale pop culture references in tv/movie?
None. Ever.
Just kidding. For real though, the funniest reference I’ve ever heard was when my class read The Great Gatsby three years ago. Some people said that Tom Buchanan (Daisy’s husband) was smart. Our teacher asks why, their response? “It says he went to Yale.”
Sam Keating was gonna teach there in “How to Get Away with Murder.” Also this might help you out:

I don’t know if reruns of Gilligan’s Island would still be considered “pop culture,” but there are lots of references to Yale. Here’s a favorite: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCCCN-3NJiU
I suppose this is really lame for pop culture, but when my son and I started watching the “French in Action” series today, we were surprised to see that one of the main characters is apparently from Yale and wears a Yale shirt constantly. (Filmed in the mid-1980s, this educational series is full of some quite dated examples of “up-to-date” that I have seen in a while. Brought back lots of memories…)
Being a part of the “Yale crowd” from American Psycho may also count.
Only once in one of the Simpsons’ episode
Gilmore Girls
There’s this old Dilbert strip . . . .
Hahaha, very funny! I love it! @poblob14 Thank you!
In Gossip Girl, Blair is so obsessed with getting into Yale that she chooses the name for her newborn sister.
