Yale Ivy Scholars -- any good?

Hey. .has anyone gone to this thing? It is a 2 week intensive thing for high schoolers taught by Dr. Luong. Any advice please, it is expensive.

I was looking at the application and it seems like an interesting program. In terms of college admissions, schools will care more about what you learned from going there rather than the fact you actually went.

It’s a nice thing to do if you can afford it, but it definitely won’t make or break your college app. I’m sure it will leave a meaningful imprint on your kid though.

^ That thread has great info.

well, if you want to and can afford it, I heard it’s a great experience, on the other hand, my friend who went was rejected SCEA and I was accepted ED despite not even being invited. It won’t hurt you to not go
