<p>I took community college courses. The college sent an official transcript to Yale and about a week ago. (2 of my professors delayed submitting students' grades. The lateness of the grade submissions was beyond my control.) I didn't tell them to write "YALE SCEA" on it or label it. How will this letter be processed? It should have arrived at Yale yesterday morning. Will they review the letter in time??</p>
<p>They should … I did something similar and sent them updated information regarding a scholarship I received. As long as they didn’t make a decision on your application yet, they will probably consider it.</p>
<p>I doubt on the whole it will make much difference. As long as you already reported somewhere on your app that you took some community college courses, and your performance in those same subjects at high school looks strong, Yale will already know you are likely doing quite well at community college, and that you are really endeavoring to extend yourself in those subjects. The transcripts you are sending now will be more an affirmation of that - it is highly unlikely they will make or break your case, especially given that at this stage many of the EA decisions are pretty close to being finalized.</p>
